Digital Risk Protection Services (DRPS)

Digital risk protection services are technology and services that protect digital resources and data from external threats, while reducing enterprise attack surfaces. DRPS provides visibility into the open web, social media, dark web, and deep web sources to identify potential threats to critical assets. It also provides contextual information on threat actors, their tactics and processes they use for conducting malicious activities.

During the past few years, cyberattacks have grown increasingly complex, voluminous, and targeted, in their efforts to disrupt business operations. DRPS is mostly outsourced by organizations that don’t have in-house skills. DRPS proactively identifies exposed digital assets at risk, collects and performs analysis of mapped data with prioritization of risks, and provides alerting and reporting for actionable intelligence. Business resilience is improved, by eliminating active threats and remediating misconfigured environments. DRPS supports a wide range of use cases and user roles, including digital foot printing, by mapping internal and external assets and identifying shadow IT; brand protection, by identifying impersonations, doxing, and misinformation; account takeover, by finding credential theft, lookalike domains and phishing sites; data leakage detection, by protecting intellectual property and employee and customer PII and credit card data; and high-value target monitoring, through VIP and executive monitoring.

Ridge Security DRPS support

As part of an integrated DRPS solution, Ridge Security’s RidgeBot® enables organizations to frequently and consistently test their infrastructure, applications, and defenses to find and mitigate weaknesses, gaps and operational deficiencies faster. RidgeBot® acts like human attackers using sophisticated exploits. RidgeBot® relentlessly locates exploits across an enterprise network, document their findings, continuously measure results and effectiveness, and verify vulnerabilities.

RidgeBot® enables organizations to conduct automated pentesting from an attacker’s point of view. Before exposures are put into production, RidgeBot® finds, assesses, prioritizes, and fixes a wide set of exposures before bad actors get to them. The resulting validation allows organizations to see what would happen in the event of an attack, how their defenses would cope, and how well the processes would perform.
